# Is it OSHA recordable if a worker goes home early on the day of the injury?

**Short answer:** Not recordable

Not for that reason. OSHA does not count the day of the injury as a day away or a restricted day. If the worker is back on full duty the next scheduled day and only got first aid, the case is not recordable.
