Is a tetanus shot after stepping on a nail OSHA recordable?
Short answerNot recordable
No. Tetanus immunizations are on OSHA's first-aid list. Other immunizations, such as hepatitis B vaccine or rabies vaccine, are medical treatment and would make the case recordable.
Why
- Only first aid was given. Every treatment you checked is on OSHA's first-aid list. 29 CFR 1904.7(a)
