Is heat exhaustion treated with water and rest OSHA recordable?
Short answerNot recordable
No, if that is all it took. Drinking fluids for relief of heat stress is on OSHA's first-aid list. Intravenous fluids, loss of consciousness or days away would make it recordable.
Why
- Only first aid was given. Every treatment you checked is on OSHA's first-aid list. 29 CFR 1904.7(a)
This answer comes from the same rule-by-rule check used in the HardHat Binder OSHA log, based on the facts described above. Different facts can change the result.
